Caburé. Rio Preguiças

Ontem às 8,30h, a Equipe Ecoralph  embarcou numa lancha de Barreirinhas para Caburé, cruzando o Rio Preguiças. Sr.Ailton (o cara é bom!) foi o condutor do barco.

Houve dois pontos de parada durante o percurso: a comunidade de Vassouras e a comunidade de Mandacaru, onde está localizado o Farol Preguiças. 

Já em Caburé, observamos as construções feitas pelos pescadores que residem aí somente durante parte do ano quando as boas condições climáticas permitem.  De um lado o Rio Preguiças.  Do outro o vasto mar com aquele vento incessante que explica a destruição das construções ao redor. Caburé é aquele pontinho distante do planeta no qual a gente sonha viver durante um tempo.

E tudo isso nos arredores do Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses!!!😁

Yesterday at  8.30 am, the Ecoralph Team boarded a speedboat from Barreirinhas to Caburé, crossing the Preguiças River. Mr.Ailton (the guy is good!) was the boat driver. There were two stopping points along the way: the community of Vassouras and the community of Mandacaru, where the Preguiças Lighthouse is located. In Caburé, we observe the constructions made by fishermen who live there only during part of the year when good weather conditions allow. On one side, the Preguiças River. On the other, the vast sea with that incessant wind that explains the destruction of the surrounding buildings. Caburé is that distant point of the planet where we dream of living for a while. And all this on the outskirts of Lençóis Maranhenses National Park!!!😁

Ontem às 8,30h, a Equipe Ecoralph  embarcou de Barreirinhas, num 4X4 do jeito que a gente gosta, com a Natural Ecoturismo Clique aqui rumo a localidade de Atins, atravessando os Lençóis Maranhenses.

Passamos pelo Rio Preguiças de balsa e durante a primeira hora de passeio sacolejamos bastante (digo, bastante!!!) em estrada de areia atravessando a vegetação típica. Então, chegamos nos Lençóis Maranhenses propriamente dito (é um Parque Nacional, não se esqueça disso!) e aquela imensa paisagem de dunas, de lagoas e areia foi se descortinando ao redor. Não há palavras e fotografias que descrevam adequadamente o que é essa paisagem fenomenal de nosso Brasil.

Paramos nas lagoas porque o banho foi inevitável nas águas mornas e cristalinas e subimos dunas. Seguimos em direção ao mar. Mais banhos.

Nosso destino ainda era a localidade de Atins que vem sendo descoberta recentemente pelos visitantes. Lá estacionamos na beira do Rio Preguiças para almoço e banho.  No retorno, mais uma parada em outra lagoa dos Lençóis. 

Fica a dica: coloque o PARNA Lençóis Maranhenses na sua agenda de viagem! Urgentemente!😉

Vastidão de paisagem

Yesterday at 8.30 am, the Ecoralph Team boarded a 4X4 just the way we like it, with Natural Ecoturismo heading to Atins, crossing Lençóis Maranhenses. We passed the Rio Preguiças by ferry and during the first hour of the tour we shook a lot (I mean, a lot!!!) on a sandy road crossing the typical vegetation. Then, we arrived at Lençóis Maranhenses (it's a National Park, don't forget that!) and that immense landscape of dunes, lagoons and sand began to unfold around us. There are no words or photographs that adequately describe what this phenomenal landscape of our Brazil is. We stopped at the lagoons because bathing was inevitable in the warm and crystalline waters and we climbed the dunes. We headed towards the sea. More baths. Our destination was still the location of Atins that has been recently discovered by visitors. There we parked on the banks of the Rio Preguiças for lunch and a bath. On the way back, another stop at another Lençóis lake.

Tranfers. De Santarém a Barreirinhas.

Foram 48h de transfers de Santarém até chegarmos a Barreirinhas.

Mudamos do Norte para o Nordeste nessa nova fase da viagem.

Dia11: De 10h até 11,30h, esperamos o ônibus urbano para o aeroporto de Santarém. 1h no ônibus. 

Voo Santarém-Belém 15,15h. Chegada em Belém 16,25h. As 17h pegamos uber até rodoviária, 30 min de viagem.

19h ônibus para o Maranhão.

Dia 12:  Em torno 8,40h chegada em São Luís do Maranhão.

Aguardamos na rodoviária o ônibus para Barreirinhas, porta de entrada dos Lençóis Maranhenses.  Pegamos o ônibus das 14h. Chegada às 19h na porta da pousada Igarapé.Clique aqui

It took 48 hours of transfers from Santarém to reach Barreirinhas. We moved from the North to the Northeast in this new phase of the trip.

Day 11: From 10 am to 11.30 am, we wait for the urban bus to Santarém airport. 1h on the bus.
Santarém-Belém flight 15.15h. Arrival in Belém 16.25h. At 17:00 we took an uber to the bus station, a 30-minute journey. 19h bus to Maranhão.
Day 12: Around 8.40h arrival in São Luís do Maranhão. We wait at the bus station for the bus to Barreirinhas, the gateway to Lençóis Maranhenses. We took the 2pm bus. Arrival at 19:00 at the door of the Igarapé inn. Images of our imposing Amazon River. Follow our journey!😁
