A Equipe Ecoralph recebeu o grupo de Taubaté, SP para uma visita pela manhã na Parte Baixa do Parque Nacional do Itatiaia, a primeira unidade de conservação criada no país, em 1937.
A chamada "parte baixa" é a sua porção de floresta exuberante, a Mata Atlântica Ombrófila densa, que resguarda Cachoeiras abertas ao uso público, um Centro de Visitantes com exposições variadas sobre os diversos aspectos do parque como formação geológica, ocupação humana, fauna e flora, características de relevo,etc. e ainda um Mirante, com vista da bacia hidrográfica do Rio Campo Belo.
Nosso grupo visitou o atrativo "Lago Azul", que se localiza bem próximo do estacionamento para ônibus.
The Ecoralph Team received the group from Taubaté, SP for a morning visit to the Lower Area of the Itatiaia National Park, the first conservation unit created in the country, in 1937. The so-called "lower area" is its portion of lush forest, the dense Atlantic Rainforest, which protects waterfalls open to public use, a Visitors Center with varied exhibitions of various aspects of the park such as the geological formation, human occupation, fauna and flora, relief features, etc. and even a viewpoint, overlooking Campo Belo river watershed. Our group visited the attractive "Blue Lake", which is located very close to the bus parking.
