Ecoturismo Ecoralph: Serra da Bocaina. Via Bananal/ SP.

Neste feriadão de 01 de maio a Equipe Ecoralph subiu a Serra da Bocaina, via município de Bananal/ SP. Bananal, que já foi uma das cidades mais ricas do Ciclo do Café, no século XIX, é um destino do Vale do Paraíba que guarda muito bem as memórias da época. Preserva em seus arredores atraentes fazendas históricas, abertas para visitação e até para hospedagem, com o mobiliário daquele tempo e o glamour das antigas instalações. Além de contar com belíssimo conjunto arquitetônico do século XIX em seu centro urbano. Esta estância turística de 9.969 habitantes, de acordo com a estimativa do IBGE/2022, fica nos limites entre os estados do Rio de Janeiro e São Paulo, e contempla também a área do Parque Nacional da Serra da Bocaina.

Começamos pela visita à Estação Ecológica de Bananal, e sua cachoeira Sete Quedas. Desviando da estrada principal, são 2km de estrada pavimentada de bloquete e mais 8 km de estrada de chão até a entrada. A trilha até as duas quedas é considerada fácil, mas não se esqueça de que é necessário agendar e obter os ingressos antecipadamente para a unidade de conservação.Clique aqui

No dia seguinte foram 1h20 de caminhada até o alto da Cachoeira do Bracuí, localizada na divisa entre Angra dos Reis e Bananal, e que é a principal atração desta área da Serra da Bocaina. Chegamos em sua parte superior que oferece uma vista panorãmica da baía de Angra dos Reis.

Mais um dia e visitamos a cachoeira da Usina e a Cachoeira da Onça. E claro que estando na Bocaina, não poderíamos deixar de curtir a rica culinária onde a truta é o prato principal e as delícias da Chez Bruna.Clique aqui

On this long weekend May 1st, the Ecoralph Team climbed the Serra da Bocaina, via the municipality of Bananal/SP. Bananal, which was once one of the richest cities of the Coffee Cycle, in the 19th century, is a destination in the Paraíba Valley that preserves the memories of that time very well. It preserves in its surroundings attractive historic farms, open for visits and even for lodging, with the furniture of that time and the glamour of the old facilities. In addition, it has a beautiful architectural complex from the 19th century in its urban center. This tourist resort of 9,969 inhabitants, according to the IBGE/2022 estimate, is on the border between the states of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, and also includes the area of the Serra da Bocaina National Park. We started by visiting the Bananal Ecological Station and its Sete Quedas waterfall. Deviating from the main road, it is 2km of paved road and another 8km of dirt road to the entrance. The trail to the two waterfalls is considered easy, but don't forget that you need to schedule and obtain tickets in advance for the conservation unit. The next day, it was a 1h20 walk to the top of the Bracuí Waterfall, located on the border between Angra dos Reis and Bananal, and which is the main attraction of this area of Serra da Bocaina. We arrived at the top, which offers a panoramic view of the Angra dos Reis bay.One more day and we visited the Usina waterfall and the Onça waterfall. And of course, being in Bocaina we couldn't miss out on enjoying the rich cuisine where trout is the main dish and the delicacies of Chez Bruna.
