No post anterior relatamos nossa ida ao Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar, núcleo Cunha, no feriado da Semana Santa de 2019.

Também estivemos no sábado, 20 de abril, na Pedra da Macela, ponto culminante da região de Cunha, com 1840m de altitude.

No km 66,5 da rodovia Cunha-Paraty fica a entrada da estrada que leva até a Pedra. 

São mais 6km de chão até o portão onde há o estacionamento para carros. 
Daí, segue-se pela própria "estrada-trilha" por mais uma hora a pé, em ascensão constante.

De seu topo é possível avistarmos a Serra da Mantiqueira e toda a formação montanhosa da Serra do Mar na região de Angra dos Reis e Paraty, além do belíssimo visual da Baía da Ilha Grande.

In the previous post we reported our trip to the Serra do Mar State Park, Cunha Nucleus, during the 2019 Easter Holiday. We were also on Saturday, April 20, at Pedra da Macela, the culminating point of the Cunha region at 1840m altitude.In the km 66,5 of the highway Cunha-Paraty is the entrance of the road that leads to the Stone. There are more 6 km of landroad to the gate where there is the parking for cars. From there, we have to follow
by the main road another hour on foot, on a constant rise.  
From its summit it is possible to look the Mantiqueira Mountain Range and all the mountainous formation of the Sea Mountain Range in the region of Angra dos Reis and Paraty, as well as the beautiful view of the Bay of Ilha Grande.

Há exatamente um mês, em 19 de abril de 2019, a Equipe Ecoralph esteve no Parque Estadual Serra do Mar, estado de SP, criado em 1977, e que representa a maior porção contínua preservada de Mata Atlântica no Brasil.

Visitamos o Núcleo Cunha e fizemos a Trilha do Rio Bonito, considerada uma trilha de dificuldade alta, com extensão aproximada de 7,6km. Levamos 4,30h para percorrê-la, com direito a um “pit-stop” espetacular na Cachoeira da Lage que é o principal atrativo do percurso.

A trilha corta a mata Atlântica por todo o tempo e deve ser realizada somente com o condutor obrigatório do parque e agendamento prévio.

Exactly one month ago, on April 19, 2019, the Team Ecoralph was in Serra do Mar State Park, São Paulo state, created  in 1977 and representing the largest preserved portion of Atlantic Forest in Brazil.

We visited the Cunha Nucleus and  we made the Bonito River Trail, considered a high difficulty trail, with an approximate extension of 7.6km. We took 4,30h to cross it, with a spectacular pit-stop right in the Lage Waterfall which is the main attraction of the route. The trail cuts the Atlantic Forest fall time and should be performed only with the required guide of the park and prior scheduling

Yesterday, Saturday, was another day receiving visitors in the Finnish Colony of Penedo, Itatiaia, RJ.

Janeiro de 2019 foi um mês de viagens para a Equipe Ecoralph, e um dos lugares pelos quais passamos foi a cidade de Brumadinho, em Minas Gerais, com o intuito de visitar Inhotim, 10 anos após nossa primeira visita ao espaço.

Inhotim congrega paisagismo, belos jardins e lagos, e pavilhões de exposições de Arte Contemporânea.

Dessa vez, ficamos hospedados na cidade de Betim, no Abba Hotel, e fomos na terça e quarta (22 e 23 de janeiro) para Inhotim, 50 minutos de carro. Na tarde de quarta, após sair de Inhotim, almoçamos em Brumadinho e circulamos pela cidade.

Na sexta feira, 25 de janeiro, ainda estávamos em MG e soubemos da tragédia que se abateu sobre Brumadinho. O rompimento da barragem de rejeitos da mineração, o que causou a morte e o desparecimento de mais de 300 pessoas além de uma grandiosa devastação ambiental.

Nesse post, gostaríamos de prestar nossa solidariedade ao povo de Brumadinho, e registrar o nosso agradecimento a essa cidade que sempre nos recebeu de braços abertos.

A Equipe Ecoralph está em estado de perplexidade diante do ocorrido, torcendo para que tudo se ajeite da melhor forma o mais rápido possível. Força, Brumadinho!

January was a month of travel for the Ecoralph Team, and one of the places we passed was the city of Brumadinho, in Minas Gerais, with the intention of visiting Inhotim, 10 years after our first visit to space. Inhotim congregates landscaping, beautiful gardens and lakes, and pavilions of Contemporary Art exhibitions.

This time, we stayed in the city of Betim, and went on Tuesday and Wednesday (January 22 and 23) to Inhotim, 50 minutes by car. On the afternoon of Wednesday, after leaving Inhotim, we had lunch in Brumadinho and circulated around the city.

On Friday, January 25, we were still in MG and we knew about the tragedy that struck Brumadinho.The disruption of the mining waste dam, which caused the death and disappearance of more than 300 people besides a great environmental devastation. In this post we would like to express our solidarity with the people of Brumadinho and register our “thanks” to this city that has always welcomed us with opened arms. The Ecoralph Team is in a state of perplexity in the face of what has happened, hoping that everything will be done as quickly as possible. Brumadinho, go ahead!
